Rebecca McClellan – State Board of Education
Rebecca McClellan is the former Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Centennial, where she served on City Council from 2006 to 2014. As City Council Liaison to local schools, she worked with State Legislators and local stakeholders to develop and pass measures to improve school funding. Rebecca also worked with Bicycle Colorado to bring Centennial schools their first Safe Routes to Schools program.
Rebecca McClellan has served on the Executive Board of her school district’s Legislative Network, where she advocated for our public schools. Rebecca’s school volunteer experience spans more than a decade, including classroom work, fundraising, and support for programs including music and the arts. Rebecca and Jim have two children in public school, and Rebecca is a PTCO Executive Officer.
She has been a successful small business owner, in addition to her many years of public service. Rebecca McClellan is running for the State Board of Education to continue her strong support for excellent schools for every student.
